Getting to Lincoln couldn't be easier. Whether you are travelling by air, sea, road or rail there are no shortage of ways to get to this beautiful historic city.
Travelling by car or coach allows you to explore Lincolnshire at your own pace. From the South, and West you can enter Lincolnshire via the A1& A46 respectively and from the North you can access the county via the M180 - heading down the A15 to get to the city.
2011 will see the launch of a new direct rail link between Lincoln and London. With an expected 7 services running per day this will make getting to, and exploring the city even easier than ever before.

Once you have arrived in Lincoln, travelling around the city, and surrounding area is a breeze.
If you are in Lincoln itself there are plenty of ways to get around without the use of your car. For those who relish a bit of exercise Lincoln's City Centre is small and compact enough to allow you to explore on foot. After a hard day's sightseeing and shopping however you might not relish the sight of Steep Hill! If this is the case simply hop aboard the city's Walk and Ride service. With regular trips from the main high street to Castle Square this is a great way to get around the city.

If you want to explore a bit further afield then Lincolnshire's InterConnect services provide a great way to enjoy the rest of the county. Using Lincoln as a central hub you can easily get to and from Skegness, Grantham, Grimsby, Gainsborough, Scunthorpe Boston. Along with this there are connecting services along the route allowing you to explore Lincolnshire without having to fill up.
